Opinions on my front mount intercooler set up?

Thought about doing something like this for a while. Was going to use the Suzuki NPR intercooler, but got a deal(free) on a regular front mount intercooler kit.

Instead of mounting it behind the front bumper, I sandwiched it up against the radiator. Also routed it under the power steering pump, so I could retain it. Also helps since I'm in California, and cops kinda know what's up on swaps, and intercoolers, so in a way, it's a sleeper set-up.

My only concern is ducting, as we cut the stock radiator mounts so that the intercooler would be placed there. There are a few open spots that I will take care of today(hopefully)

Anyways, here's the pics.

How badly do you think air flow will be affected? I'm a little worried that it won't be enough to keep the car cool

The only opinion that matters is the engines.

Its So close to your radiator? Is it not conducting heat to it?

Otherwise, Less piping=less lag=)
Tmic sucks.

I think it would be ok if it isn't touching and you would want to fabricate a shroud. After this mockup I would trim that upper hose so it isn't pinched

One in the front scooping the air from the front of the bumper opening and guiding to the fmic/radiator. Also something between the rad and ic to allow the air to not escape through the sides. A bit of fabrication

I remember reading and hearing from different sources that it is actually better to stack the radiator and intercooler then separating them. When they are separated there becomes a turbulence of swirling air flow between them and the radiator gets even less air flow. making shrouds to direct air flow helps but doesn't always eliminate the swirling effect. I would love to see some temp #'s when u r back on the road. I think some will be surprised how low the temp stays compared to a conventional front mount.
