At that price i would just get something that's been proven to have good quality.

I dont know if you want cheap or not but "GODSPEED" now makes coilovers for the FC for around $600. Thats the cheapest set of coilovers Ive seen. Do with that info what you wish. Theyre on Ebay.

I am assuming that it is the same "HSD" as the Korean joint venture of Hanjung, Samsung, and Daewoo (HSD).

I have not tried those coilovers, nor do I know anybody who has. They look pretty much like the other cheapie Korean coilovers on the market. The flashy colors and lack of any type of legitimate racing credentials or warranty would make me suspicious of their quality.

+1

You could piece together a race-quality Koni/Eibach setup for about the same price as those shiny Korean cheapie coilovers.

thanks, I was just curious about them. I think I will just get some stance eventually for a little bit more. they have proven credentials from a lot of FC guys. I'll be having them on soft settings most of the time (but the 8k/6k rates will still make for jolty daily driving). its a daily/drifter but I don't mind the stiff ride quality everyday if it means I can control my car better sideways. I am still on slightly saggy stock units from '86. the rear seem to have some negative camber from the sag so its time for something new.
