so I was changing the fluid in my shifter box(this is an s5 t2) and I thought the bolt on the driver side of the shift box was the drain bolt but when I was draining the fluid from that bolt I heard 2 things fall out one was a ball and the other was a spring. Now after putting them Back in several different ways I still can't get
my 5th gear or reverse to work so I assume I made the huge mistake of thinking the 5th/reverse detent were a drain plug. So can somebody tell me what I need to do to fix this? I really appreciate any help that is offered, thanks. -mike
