One switch
Hey guys, Ive got a quick question. Im working on an 86 GXL. It does have the sunroof as an option. Id like to wire in an extra switch, that would automaticly open (or close) both windows, and the sunroof. Has anyone ever done this been done before?

You need a window controller to close the roof one touch. I'd recommend either a DEI 529T or 530T if you want to try and do it yourself.
I also offer on my website rebuilding your drivers door power window switch, and adding one touch up and down.

So, reading your website Icemark, basically it says the 89-91 are no longer avaliable...so you're saying the 86-88 are plug n' play with the one touch after you've technically built it?

One touch is pretty cool, in that if you just tap the switch the window will go all the way up or all the way down, and stop if something like your arm gets caught in the window (to prevent decapitation). Then if you want the window to stop partial open or closed, then you either hold the switch or tap it again.
Also move the current off the switch, so the switch no longer has the huge electrical load going through it. Instead heavy duty relays take control.
