I personally love 12a engines. They run forever.

I don't know if I would put one in a heavy FC, but hey, necessity is the mother of invention.

I have actually been thinking about how I will buy an FD in the future, and then build a 12A/ motec FB3S with all the ammenaties like AC, nice stereo, genuine leather interior, etc. for my daily driver! I think it's gonna be sick!

if you're saying you wanna get the engine in it now to work to just drive it, you'd probably be better off asking the first gen guys.

Check compression fuel air spark. Maybe the engine is flooded etc. Sorry if i mis-understood you, i didnt quite understand your last question.

Well this guy says there are only like 7 RX-7s where he's from so it looks like he doesn't have much to work with. Hopefully you have tons of money or else its 12A power for you.

This was car was working and drive, some guy before me start the engine and he was check the compression and he say it is ok... I will check compression and will see. Soon i will buy a borescope to see inside engine ( apex seals etc. ).. I dont wont throw money in this engine, I will swap 13B T2 engine in to work with..

I dont know which wire go where, at moment. I will check and try to start the engine...

You might want to RE read that... I said I will get an FD, and ANOTHER CAR, dumbass! The 12A, as I said was for the 1st gen, hence "FB" is what it's chassis code is. Dont do that untill you proof-read.

Dude, if you only have 7 rx-7's in your area, sell the 12A! SOMEONE has to have a first gen around there, and it will make at least some money back for ya!

what wires do you need to know how to hook up?

If you can take some pictures and circle what things you dont know what to do with, i could let you know.

You can ship a TII drivetrain for pretty cheap, if you package it efficiently and send it in a container ship. Takes about three weeks to cross the Atlantic - add some time/cost for land transport to Eastern Europe. Get a whole swap with everything in the engine bay, Cluster, wiring and sensors inside, fuel pump, you get the picture. GL!

This is my second plan.. Less cost is to buy a another car ( a turbo model ) in Germany, Italy etc. and teardown whole car. Then i will have a engine, bodywork ( turbo model hood ), brakes etc...
Problem is I dont have nobody in America etc. to check the engine that i will buy, 50/50 that engine will work.

I wonder if you could have just the engine shipped to an engine builder, and have them rebuild it, then send it to you.

Probably, but alot of people here in the states will not deal with the massive hassle of customs. Which is unfortunate for our brothers stuck in BFE Europe.

Do they sell LS1 Corvettes or Holdens in your country? I'm surprised nobody mentioned a LS1 swap?
