Older racing beat exhaust?

I saw an older TII racing beat exhaust that is all black except the tips. I was wondering if it was basically the same as the new REV TII system as far as performance and sound. I searched and couldn't find anything on it. Anybody know anything about it?

As far as I know, they're the same. Sound is slightly different since the material used is not the same. Some would say it's better sounding than the REV TII.

Ok. Just wondering. I saw it online once earlier today and I didn't know if it was maybe a fake or not just because I had never seen it before so I figured I would ask.

No problem, I personally like the older RB because the exhaust tips are longer - good for S5's so the bumper doesn't get scorched.

I've had an older T2 3" exhaust for about 3 years now on my personal car. I bought it used off these forums. I haven't had any problems.

I heard it was something to do with being Less conspicuous.
RB made them so Guys would not be yanked over in Cali,.
A shiny Exhaust (cans glaring out the back) would raise attention.
But that is "here say".(haha!)
I have the Black mufflers,,they Sound Freakin Great,it makes the Car.

The set I bought was from racing beat directly. They are stainless. The only difference should be the chrome.

the older black systems are actually better, they are 80mm instead of 75mm. plus the Y is better on the old ones.

RSR made the old ones, but ive seen several different muffler/pipe designs.
