old tranny new engine

I am rebuilding a 88rx7 non-turbo. I am putting a brand new engine with a turbo in it. But I am keeping the old non-turbo trany. The old engine made about 150hp and the new one will be making 250. do I need to buy a new trany. I will be taking this to the track one day. Thanks

Keeping the N/A drivetrain is not recommended for T2's, especially if you're going to be whomping on it at a track and such. Sure, day to day drivers can get away with it, and others have stated that they've not had problems (yet). BUT, I have seen a picture of a busted differential that a T2 engine did to the N/A differential. I'd recommend getting the T2 tranny, driveshaft, half-shafts, and differential.
