Old rotor seals,...

My '88 RX-7 is pretty old now, despite the 43,024 original miles on the odometer. It runs just great, but I would like to keep it that way, if possible,...
Obviously, the 13B engine sits for periods, and I know of the usual things that I can do for proper car/engine storage, but I'd like to ask the forum if there is anything I can do to reduce the drying and cracking of my 32 year old rotor seals? I understand how vital they are to the function of the Wankel, and have read a lot about them being a source of engine failure. And, after so long, I doubt anything would change whatever condition they are in,...
Any thoughts?
Thanks very much, stay healthy!
Todd.

the compression seals are all iron, very similar to a piston ring.

the water seals, and rotor oil seals are rubber like, and the best thing you can do is keep the fluids fresh, and when you run the engine you get it up to temperature
