Old Brakes

Well i have a fc and the brakes are(grabbing) when not applied. I have taken the calipers off and pushed the piston back but as soon as i hit the brakes againg they start grabbing again just wanted to know if anybody has have this same prob? and what they did to fix it another thing is the mc and or the booster is leaking but cant find the damn leak mabye this is doing it (loosing fluid) and do you have to have to have a special tool to take off brake lines ANY HELP IS HELPFUL THANKS JT (and can i just take the calipers off and apart to solve this prob)

sounds like the retaining springs are missing on the caliper (you didn't say which one) that is sticking

Both front are sticking i cant even push the car ist so bad. You say the clips does those hold the piston back? And before i started to do body work when they were not sticking they chatterd alot <(i thought that is what the clips were for) THANKS

The little wire springs push the brake pads back when pressure isn't applied.

Which calipers are dragging? Front or rear? If it's the rear, you might want to take a look at the e-brake cable - if it's hanging up on something or misadjusted, it will apply the brakes.
