fine, I think Im going to get the hks ssbov. not just for the sound, but it seems in everyones opinions, its the best quality and has good preventable measures for leaks.....

Anyway, my question now is why do the prices vary so much, xecret carries a "kit" for over 300 dollars , yet the universal hks is only 200 dollars....

Whats the beef??? Cant I just get the universal?? what is involved in hooking up another aftermarket bov. With the stock one you just have one hose going into the bov, and another venting it back into the afm.....

I always figured with an aftermarket unit, you would have some sort of adapter to fit on the stock hose, and it would just vent to the atmosphere, and you would plug the return hose going back into the afm???

A good explanation of why I should spend the extra money for the kit would be great....

because the universal one will have a flange on it and you can't install it, you need to buy the other side of the flange then have it welded to something, normaly your FMIC piping.

the kit one comes with a replacment pipe that goes between the turbo and IC, which has the flange on it.
