Okay...well the engine's been sitting a while...quite a while...

I have a parts car that, when I purchased it, had very good compression on both rotors. Recently, due to my stupid mix-matching of fly-wheels and engines, lost my onle free S4 flywheel so I was debating pulling this engine for the fly. Of course, as many of you would understand, the engine's got good compression, I thought I just use this engine instead of pulling two....anyways. Now it has zero compression. The seals are locked down. What's my best route for cleaning them and unlocking them?

Also, upon draining the engine oil I found water in it, lots of water. I'm assuming that water and moisture have also gotten into the housings and need to prepare for that.

My place at the moment is to flush the engine with diesel to clean the water out. Then I'll be flushing the rotor housings first with B12 to clean any carbon or gunky stuff, then coating everything with gear oil and letting it sit for a day or so. Also thinking heating it may help a little as well to free up the seals.

Any ideas?

{Editor's note: The following is a completely uninformed, but hopefully logical conclusion, carry on}

hmmmm... I dont' think it's a good thing that it had lots of water on the inside... I'd probably start looking towards a rebuild as it sounds like your orings are either shrunken/dried or deteriorated.. .
