Okay guys: Got a steel bit, where is the best place to drill my firewall?

I need to run a three quarter inch electrical conduit through my firewall. I'm going to be running it down the driver's side. I also have just gotten a bit that can go through just about anything, and I was wondering where everyone thinks the best place to mount this thing should be. There is a nice circular gap between the brake and clutch, but there is some close quarter clutch aparatus about an inch behind that area on the other side of the firewall. Anyone got any suggestions for something a little more to the left? I would love to put the hold behind my dead pedal, but it seems that this would actually wind up *under* the engine compartment and in the wheel well instead?

I'm not sure what a "three quarter inch electrical conduit " is, but you can run a 0 gauge cable thru the big rubber groomet on the passenger side, where all the EFI cables run thru the interior to the engine bay.

Cut your hole above the gas pedal, that is a good location, make sure you don't cut into your fuel filter, cause this is close to where the hole is.

The gas pedal, hm. Do you know anything about areas further to the left?

3/4 conduit is just like a pipe for wiring, this one is the flexible steel type. But there is a 0 gauge cable in it, yes.

I don't have a pic of mine, but here is one showing the rubber groomet.

BTW - I wouldn't drill a hole in the firewall unless 100% necessary.

if you start to go father to the left, you start to run into less space.

Just move your hole farther up, in the same location over the gas pedal, its really the best place for a hole.

why the conduit there are plenty of holes under your pedal area...get your *** down there and look there is a big *** like 2inch by 1inch hole for most of the wiring and then there are i think 2 other 1 inch holes for wiring that arent being used under the stop and gas pedals(well on my car atleast)....hope this helps....
