ok whats the deal with the vents in the rear carpet?

ok whats the deal with the vents in the rear carpet?

is there any purpose to the vent/grills on the trar hatch carpet?

They are probably there so condensation can evaporate from the rear section. Its either that, or thats where the rocket engines get their air....

Mine are actually having to work double time. My 3rd brake light housing is out so when it rains water gets to my spare tire compartment and has begun to rust the bottom of it. It was like that when I bought it, but me having the brake light cover off isnt helping it either

At least put duct tape or something over the hole...
