ok everyone keeps saying research
Ok people series 4 88 auto to manual... the wires dont match any thing... i took some pictures and i will put them on later but maybe you all can solve this mistery for me.... cause i am plum fu8k out of ideas.... and write ups dont tell me ****.... that i need to know. extra info... i also swaped the motor...so it was a complete swap... but the wires... the wires... the wires... please save me lots of money by helping me...

According to the schematics, pin 1G (black wire on the auto) from the ECU will now go to the neutral switch on the manual tranny, then to ground (manual harness wire color will be green/black between the switch and the ECU, if it's there)
pin1I, black/blue, went to the auto control unit, vacuum switch, and the overdrive oil pressure switch, then to ground, and now will go to the 5th gear (over the top) switch on the tranny (still black/blue), then to ground via a black wire
And in the starter circuit, the black/white that used to go the inhibitor switch on the auto will now go through the clutch interlock switch (black/red from the power source, and black/green from the switch to the starter cut relay, if equipped)
On the back-up lights, the black/yellow that went to the inhibitor switch will now go to the manual tranny back-up light switch, then the red/green wire to the back-up lights, just like the auto harness did...
Sounds confusing, but if you'll look at the schematics, it should clear things up for you...
