Oil Top feed question

yeah, so im doing my swap from a 87 N/a to 88 TII. the motor has a block off plate next to the Lower crank pulley. This is where the top oil feed is suppose to go. its blocked off though, so does this mean i dont need it? what about oil for the rotors? the nipples that stick out on the lower intake and stuff. does it have to be hooked up? I searched the forums and nothing. someone please help.

Sounds like someone converted the car to premix, and thus removed the metering oil pump. You can either put the pump back on and connect it up, or continue to block off the oil injection holes in the intake and rotor housings, and run premix.

There's a premix topic in the Archives. It's long, and annoying, but give it a read...
