Oil sending unit thread???

Can anyone tell me what the thread is for the oil sending unit? I was told that a 1/8 BSPT will fit in the block, but then a hydrolics guy told me that if a 1/8 NPT wont fit, nither will the other. Then, the guys at Mazda said it was a metric hole, but didn't know exactly which size. Any ideas?

it is 1/8" BSP and 1/8" NPT is not the same(thread pitch is different). retap to more common 1/8" NPT or special order 1/8" BSP fittings.
