The oil pressure regulator is located on the rear end housing. It will be on the driver's side of the engine. The oil pan must be removed to get to it of course.

The rotor housing is very close to the sides of the regulator. It will require a good quality wrench or socket to fit on it. By high quality I mean a thin wall tool. Cheap tools make up for the inferior metal they are made of by using thicker walls in the tool itself.

Removing the oil pan with the engine in the car may require loosening the motor mount bolts and jacking the engine up to allow the oil pan to clear the engine mount cross member.

One more thing Grimlock;

The regulator is a doable item, but I am not really certain there is a need for it on an otherwise stock engine. You may want to seek the advice of Racing Beat or some of the more learned folks here B4 spending your hard earned bucks for this.

Instead of hoisting the engine you can jack up the tranny.
