oil pres way to high& over heating

Angry oil pres way to high& over heating

i have 87 n/a
just bought road race header from racing beat installed and now crank up and the oil pressure shots up to about 120 go around the block and goes back down to normal till i go back idle. also went to the track,after about 7 runs it started running hot .

i replaced clutch fan and thermost. no better
please help

The car will run hot if you keep the engine at a high RPM level. The stock water pump cavitates. The fix is to install underdrive pullies.

Don't kno why your header effects oil pressure...doesn't make sense. Perhaps you acccidentally disconnected the pressure sensor wire and it is shorting to the body of the car?

I bought racing beat 2 sheeve underdrive pulley today so hopfully thats that. As for oil pressure still looking.
