GA Oil Metering pump copper 5 hole question

I think my oil metering pump is leaking from the lines. Can I replace the copper 5 hole back with individual copper washers?

Sure, why not? Try it and see if it leaks. Or just buy a new one from mazdatrix? It costs $6.00...

yes you can run individual washers, the single back plate is to just make life a little simpler.

the center hole is unused btw, it's there to prevent warpage.

It wasn't a money thing but more of a time thing. I just didn't want to take them all off only to find out that the 5 hole piece served some other kind of purpose that I wasn't aware of.
