oil level high

so i put in 6 quarts and my oil is way high. drained it and i added and checked the dip stick and it says that im full with only 2.5 quarts. weird.

Well last time I did an oil change, I put in 5 quarts and it the oil on the dipstick was about 0.7cm above the high mark. The entire engine holds about 6.x quarts, but just the oil pan holds 5.

do not run your car on just 2.5Qt haha is it the factory dip stick? could be to long

Actually, it takes around 4.5 quarts to fill it up normally with just a regular oil change.

lol so what should i do? its got about 2.5 in it and the dipstick says full. i put more in and it says its like over flowing!!! lol i read about the main gasket between the trans and engine blowing from too much oil. go to stealer ship and get a dipstick or go to junk yard? i saw an s5 na there should i jack that one? mines an s4 na
