Oil leak problem!? Highly confusing!

Ok, I have changed the oil pan gasket and all that! And I can see clearly the oil leak is not coming from my 87 T2. Now my thought was and some of your guys on here, was that it could be the return line!? Where exactly is the return line at! I'm lookin' and can't really tell where it would be or where it should be! haha! So please if ya'll can help, pics, info or something? That would be highly appreciated

I once thought my oil pan gasket was leaking on my 90 Conv. Turned out to be my oil metering pump o-ring gasket.

Oil leaks always start above where you think they are.

The return line as at the bottom of the turbo. It's a common leak area.

Degrease the engine then run it for a few minutes to try and spot the leak before it spreads around.
