oil filler vac line help!!
ok here goes.
at the top of the filler neck, there is a tube. this is a vac line correct? or an oil line. there is a similar tube at the BOTTOM of the filler neck. do these go together? following the vacuum rack, the line goes from the oil filler neck top, and then tees off to the TID and the bottom of the oil filler neck.
p.s. i removed all emissions, vac rack, etc.
if you guys can help, please do. i will post pictures tomorrow to clarify.

I think those tubes are just vent lines and some people hook up oil catch cans to them. Do you have the factory service manual? If not download it from www.fc3s.org and look under section 4B (theres a vacuum line diagram that shows where those lines go to).

thanks. unfortunately, the FSM available on the net isnt really clear at all. the vac rack is just one big black blob. either way it says it goes to the vac rack which is now removed. it makes sense that they're both vent lines, but if anyone else has any idea, chime in pls.

what about the line that comes from the TID (check valve)...do i plug that up? it goes to some hard line under the alternator, but from there im not sure if it should be connected anywhere.
