Oil Cap

So i wake up this morning, and i decided ill check my fluids, and i realize that i have no oil cap. Now not so long ago i had a conversation with my friend about oil caps.

We talked about how the oil cap doesnt go through any pressure. (which relieves me a tad bit), unlike the cap for the coolant/radiator. So is there any thing i should worry about while driving without an oil cap, until i get home and buy a temp one from autozone?

Thanks!

It just didn't disappear because you went looking for it. So, it's been gone for a while. If you're not spewing oil out the top, you should be fine until you get one put back on it. Just be careful not to get any debris in there.

Stuff a rag in place until you can get a cap to keep the engine bay clean. In theory an open oil cap means a small vacuum leak through the purge system but I've never seen this effect anything.
