oh no!:( I think she's toast!!
I thinks she's a goner... I posted earlier about an electrical problem that I had where the electrical systems were shutting down on me and the car was dying. yesterday, we tried jumping the car and the valve things on the airpump caught fire(sorry, don't know what they're called) I replaced one but couldn't get a hold of another one today. we tried to start the car with only one attached(the other one was screwed in but not plugged in) and at first all I got was cranking. Then, since I thought it might be flooded i did the egi fuse thing. It turned over, but died immediately on me(also the tach didn't move at all.) I tried giving it a little gas, and If I floor it, it turns over longer but the idle jumps once or twice and then it dies. It also backfired massively each time that I got it to turn over. there was also quite a bit of smoke out of both my mufflers and my exhaust leak.
It seems like only one rotor is firing, but when the damn thing died the other day, I was below 2 grand and no where near WOT. I had a weird problem with the engine where if I made a hard left turn(like doing donuts in the snow) the car would cut out/stall kinda and when I coasted outta the turn the engine would come back to life on me. my only thoughts ( that I am willing to let myself have ) are that my fuel pump has died on me, or that I have blown an Ignition coil. please tell me that none of this is a symptom of a blown apex seal or something else horrible!! but don't lie to me!

Buy a compression tester, remove the spark plug, screw it in, remove EGI fuse, crank and watch the compression tester needle bounce (one for each side of the rotor). Do this on each rotor.
