Oh damn, help me figure out how to get this Piece of my TB!!!
Alright.
I have officially taken off ALL pieces to my TII S4 throttle body WITHOUT the use of a drill! lol, that impact driver you guys recommended is just ****** wonderfull!
Although, there is one last and final piece that MUST come off if im going to powdercoat all this ****. I've decided to go powdercoat becuase it shines, and looks and lasts a lot longer than heat paint. I used heat paint for my other TB a while back becuase at the time I didn't know of anyone locally to do a powdercoat job.
Anyways, heres some pics of the piece that needs to come off
You see that 'riveted' end on there, the only way that I think I can get this piece off is if I grind it off. If I grind it off, it should just slide off with the spring, etc. Getting it back on and staying on is a different story.
I was thinking of drilling a hole (real short like) and then tapping it and using a bolt or screw with a washer plus some crazy glue or something (something non permanent like jb weld to hold it in place, but be able to get off later if need be).
What do you guys think?
thx
