well here some info from first hand on my part i went with a 1.5 drop and i ran 205-55-16 wheels with no off set and my tires rubbed some of the coating off and now part of my spring is exposed (need 15-20mm spacers). now to answer your question i beleive that if your not dropping then yes 18-8.5 but the thing that has me a little concerned is the 35mm offset with that i think you will be cuttin it close but yet it might be perfect, im leaning towards yes as lon as you use low profile tires. but im sure some one that has actual experience with this prob will chime in

i was running the 205-55-16 for autocross but right now i got my 205-50-15 wheels on and they miss the springs about 2mm before the coating was gone. so what i am thinking is that with the 18's just the fact they are 18's now that i searched and saw some info it depends like if you go with full size tires or low profile, if you go full size no deffinately not. the reason why i think you should go with low prfile tires is like, with that big of rim with a low profile tire the rime will compensate for the rest of the tire kind of equaling it out to be aprox 16 inch rim on 225's

go with 17x8 with 25-30 offset and your good to go. but is there a reason you need 18's say like you got tires for 18's so then there for you need them?
