I am almost done with my first attempt at a fiberglass hood. It is turning out very well, the hardest part was making the mold... It is just a OEM style but the weight will be about the same as the aluminum hood. The only drawback is that it is going to have to be a pin style, I can't figure out how to add latch hardware and hinge hardware..... Any sudjestions would be great.

What if you not bother with making the hood stiff by itself and cut the frame off the metal hood and use that. That way all the hardware is still there.
