odd throttle issue

I'll describe this as best I can. I'm having a problem with my NA FC that occurrs when I begin to level the accelerator in between 1500-3500 rpm. The car sounds almost like some of the spark plugs aren't firing, gets very rough sounding, and feels so as well.

I adjusted the TPS (thanks RX7 forum!) and that took care of the bouncing idle issues. now though, when I start the car i get that roughness for a minue or so, then the car raises idle to 1500 rpm idle and the roughness subsides.

when I begin to accelerate , the engien smooths as well, or the increased throttle masks the problem.

The sound of this goes from a smoth rev, (you know like a smooth hum touching your top teeth to the bottom lip) to a very rough sound when I level my speed and the throttle (try stiocking your tounge in the hum and that's pretty close, you know , a farty sound).

where shoudl I begin to resolve this issue?

I would check the timing, but also, I would look into the TPS being bad. I had similar problems with my 7 when I got it with a bad TPS and it lost power at about 2-3k and after 3.5k it just pulled like it should. It also got only about 10mpg. hey, now that it is fixed, it only gets 13 mpg, so leave me alone

alright, I'll start by checking the timing today.
My TPS seemed good on the DMM test. it was at 333 ohms , but I adjusted idle to 1k, ithen sweeps up to 5800 ohms at wot. maybe I missed a spot where it shorted?

If it's not the timing, then I'll check the TPS again.
