Odd Electrical Gremlin

I am refurbing a 1990 TII (body, paint, etc...). When I close both doors, the Door light and the clock start flickering. When I open the door back up, the Door light stays lit and the clock light goes out.

I have pulled and cleaned the door plunger contacts. Anyone have any other ideas?

try not to wonder what the time is when you open your door???..lol..just kidding.
It could be a Bad solder joint in the Idiot light cluster. That is a start anyways. They tend to go bad after awhile.resoldering the cold joints usually fix the idiot lights. That or get a replacement.
