O2 sensor w/ connector???

At last, after +/- a long month’s wait, I got a call yesterday from a Racing Beat Rep. requesting credit card authorization cause the header was finally in and the order was complete and ready to be shipped out.

Now, I’m planning on replacing the oxygen sensor aswell, but cant really afford to shell out the big bucks for the OEM replacement ($131.89 Mazdatrix). I’ve noticed that other members recommend the Bosch unit as an equal if not better alternative. But thus far, all I can come up with is the universal type, which excludes the connector and requires crimping as I understand it.
I performed a search a while back and came across this one post in which the member claimed that the Bosch sensor was now available w/ the connector and that he had picked one up at his local AutoZone. I called my local AutoZone and they told me there’s no such thing…..WTF?

So, confused as hell and tired of callin and browsin, Can anyone point me in the right direction in regards to this matter? If such a Bosch product exist, where can I get one? If not, does anyone know of another manufacturer that puts out an O2 sensor w/the connector?

Thanks in advance,
Steve W.

Did you try your local Checkers/Kragens/Schucks?

I got mine from them for about $20

I argee go with the Bocsh universal, with the racing beat header you will have to extended the 02 wire anyway. The bung sits under the car on the header. Cut the wire on the 02 sensor and then wire it up. Also make sure you insulate the wire with electrical tape or a cover of some sort. If the wire or the 02 sensor gets really wet it can cause a problem -at least for me it did-

Thanks for the reply fellas....based on the location of the O2 sensor on the RB Headers, it seems like there's gonna be some splicing and/or crimping involved anyways. i guess it's gonna be the Bosch universal sensor after all, unless someone can recommend another brand......maybe NTK by NGK????

Also, im planning on purchasing new brake pads and rotors....any suggestions??? im kinda on a budget after spending a couple of hundreds at Racing Beat.....i'm basically lookin for good quality products, priced accordingly, and that can handle daily drives and spirited ones' once or twice a week.

Thanks in advance and i appreciate your help.
