Question O2 sensor error, again!

I've previously posted on how i have o2 sensor error being indicated by my ECU. I replaced the sensor, re-wired the connector, but yet it still blinks me the o2 sensor error. Any ideas? could it be a cold solder in the ecu or old cracked wire as it goes inside the engine?
Thanks

did you reset the ECU after you replaced it?

Yeah, it only shows a code while the problem exist. Problem goes away or gets fixed then the code should stop.

the funny thing about what project84 is saying is that the error only occurs as i first turn on my car and drive, but as soon as i go past 2.5k, the light blinking stops

Run a new wire from the O2 to the ECU. Its probably just a broken wire.

By running the new wire, you mean from the o2 connector to the ECU? because I already rewired from the o2 sensor to the conector.

You missed the point of Fingers. You should run a NEW WIRE from the O2 sensor to the ECU. Bypassing your wiring harness all together.

Nevermind, you did get the point

You just run a new wire to the ecu. I ran my wire though a small hole I drilled where the a/c drain is. Then I soldered that to the ecu wire for the 02 sensor. Not sure what wire you are looking for. I am sure anybody that has done a worthless autometer air/fuel gauge could tell you what wire it is.

just be carefully cause some of the O2 sensors have the ground wire around the live wire
so it is almost like a coax cable with the signal wire being in the middle.
check that the sensor you have is not like this

my sensor doesn't have that grounding wire for sure. If i run that wire directly to the ECU, what part of the ECU do i solder or connect it to? Pics... please?
Thanks

your going to have to start looking at the FSM. the spot for the o2 sensor is position D2. on the second largest clip going into the ECU its the second wire from the right on the bottom row
