Talking And now my car won't start...

I was working on my car stereo today and I went to start my car... and nothing.

I get a click and a light on my A/C unit goes out when I turn the key. Nothing else. Help??

Yup yup!

Did you disconnect the battery before doing so?

I hope you didn't install it when the car running.

Did you like apples?

I unhooked the battery before I touched anything. Now I reconnected the battery and the car won't start.

And... could you be more descriptive? "Fuses" doesn't help a nublet like me.

Have you checked spark and fuel? That would help determine the area of failure and help narrow it down. It's possible something got jiggled loose or a fuse is shot.

The "click & lights go dim" tells us the primary bus voltage is failing.

It's either the battery or the primary cable connections.

I'd start by inspecting the battery clamp you removed to work on the stereo.
