Not a typical Logicon prob!
I am having a prob with my system.
I fixed all the soldering issues related with the system so that is not the problem...it started to happen Saturday night after coming back from a AutoX...my logicon was in the OFF postion and it just came on all of a sudden...I was like..then it just went off again after several second...it has been doing this since Sat...It goes off and on by itself through out the day--usaully after it has warmed up though...it blows full blast any where after the off position... in while in the off postion when it is on there is this buzzing sound coming from the passenger side under the glove box...I found what was buzzing and I looks like a relay...there is an identical one next to it but it does not buzz....
Lets see if we can diagnose this!!!
thanks

There is a short in the control panel or the blower amp.
I have seen a couple that a screw from the front display has broken loose inside the Logicon and rolled around, shorting things on or off. Most of the time it will eventually blow the controller mosfets, requiring replacement of the whole unit.
I would swap the Logicon with a known working one (including the blower amp on the back). If you need a rebuilt one, PM me I have them for a decent price for RX-7Club.com members.

I get the same kind of buzzing sound from under my driver's side dash when I put a certain load on the electrical system, like rolling the windows down until they are all the way down. If they are already down and I press the switches down again, there is a buzzing sound and then my turbo timer goes off (chiming as it starts to count down). Any ideas on what could be causing this.

Is your alt producing enough juice?

Need to get it tested in that case, also have been planning on getting or making a grounding kit just to help out. How hard is it to install an FD altenator, worth it or not. Thanks for the info.
