Not a good start :<

Hey guys,
Finally got my 7 today. And we're not off to a good start :< I picked it up and they informed me the battery contacts were fucked, jump started it and away I went. I got to the petrol station since I was on empty, and stopped the car, first mistake, battery was fucked, had to wait 2 hours to get someone out to replace it, they also fixed the contacts though which was cool.

The truck driver ripped another chunk out of my front bar getting it off the truck. I'ma get rid of it and the rest of the bodykit, looks nice but I cbf repairing it just cause it's a wide bodykit. Boohoo :/

Anywho: As for what the compliance place did, well

Exhaust isn't attached properly, moving around and squeaking like crazy
Suspension is squeaking like crazy
Rear tint can't be seen through. It's gotta go.
Battery was fucked when it got here
Gearbox really doesn't like downshifting into second gear, grinds like crazy
Clutch seems to be slipping a bit, not 100% sure on this though.

It goes to see if it can get a RWC (roadworthy certificate) at 1:30 (about 3 hours time). So we'll see what it needs to be roadworthy, since I have serious doubts right now about it passing, and they can pay for it.

On the plus side, the engine runs like a treat boosted rotary = mmmm, 69,000 km's on it so it's got a lot of life yet. I love my new car Just gotta get it fixed up so it's perfect and back to it's proper glory.

*end of rant*

Update:

Car wasn't complied properly by the engineer, or complied at all from what I understand, but he's paying to have it done locally for me. Which is a good ending. Still annoys me, I have to wait longer to drive my car, but I do have conditional rego on it atm.

Car drives great! ALL electricals work including the antenna, mirrors, lights in the doors, all window switches, light switches, indicators, everything. Including the idiot cluster. The boost guage doesn't seem to work though. The fuel guage I'm not sure about, I put $20 worth of fuel in it and it didn't move much, my guess is that means it's working. lol.

At least everything is sorted, I'll drive it until it gets complied and everything, and all will be well :P

I love boosted rotary power
