Exclamation Not getting spark

Hi Im new to this site and to the rotary life. I just bought myself a 1987 mazda rx-7 that wasn't running and in ok condition with 125xxx miles on it it turns over fine and the injectors are good as well. At first it was getting spark, but the fuel pump and injectors were not turning on, then the next day the fuel pump and injectors were working just fine but I was not able get spark. The fuel pump has been replace and i just bought a secondhand ecu, because the original one was fried and corroded in several arias. The new one works just fine. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!! I am banging my head up agent a wall here.

thank you

Check to make sure you have 12V at the coils on the tan wire (coil side). If not, the coils are not receiving power.

You can key on the car and then spin the CAS by hand to check if the ECU is sending spark signals to the coil. Make sure the CAS is plugged in, connector in good shape.

Check the ECU ground on the top of the engine.

I find it hard to believe that they both went bad on you. FC coil are usually VERY tough
