Noob Needs help. What set of keys to take seats out?
I have two T2 and I want to swap the seats from one to another, cause I want the leather seat! =D
But, I don't have the car right here next to me, is quite far away, so when I go there I would like to go knowing that I have what I need, other wise it's a pain in the ***!
I also would like to know how to take the whole dash board, is to too complicated?? :\
Thx in advance!!

Download the Service manual, it has disassembly instructions that are easy to follow:

You ask, we give advice...............use the door keys that fit the car that your going to take the seats out of.
Use a 14mm socket and ratchet for removing the four bolts that hold each seat in the car. IF you don't get the seat out in less than ten minutes.....don't be mechanic for a living.
Dash board? Got me. Follow the advice given above.

The dash board is not hard to take out, but it's a real pain in the ***. Check out the archives, there's a good writeup on dash removal in there.
Here's a link to the search.

Check out Makenzie's post about it.
And in response to the first question: If you wish to install seats out of a car that you don't have the keys for, break the windows. I mean, if you're stealing the seats, who cares about hurting the windows?

I think the KEY question here is..........why in the wide world of RX-7 did you use the word KEYS in your thread???? Is there a car that your familiar with that uses some type of *key* to release the seats? This is a burning question that puzzles us all. Well, some of us.
