Arrow NOOB header question

OK my exaust manifold is permanently welded to my downpipe. I am almost positive (gonna check next week when car comes home) that the down pipe is not welded to the rest of the exaust. AM i correct and believing that a racing beat header will replace my exaust manifold and down pipe without any problem or aditional parts. please no flaming. I found a good deal on a slightly use header and need to know before i buy it.

you REALLY dont want to buy that header. youll.. uhh.. die. yeah. so.. just tell me what madman was trying to sell you this and ill.. take care of it for you. cuz im in the market for some headers.. i mean, deadly timebombs.

but seriously. what is your dp attached to? the stock cat? if so, then the RB headers will not bolt up to that. youll either need to fab a small piece of straight pipe to make it to the catback, or buy RB's presilencer (does what the name implies). if this deters you from making the purchase, let me know.

Well i have a muffler shop exaust with a presilencer replacing the cat. I am almost totally positive that the dp is bolted to the next pipe and not welded.
Its a racing beat header used for under 4000 miles for $75 shipped. what do you think?

p.s. I may sound a little silly not knowing stuff about my own car but me and some friends were working on 3 fcs at once and the images kinda blend together. The one that ended up beign mine has been in storage and then at a shop for over a year while i saved up for the new engine and is currently still getting kinks worked out in another borough so i cant go in the garage and check for things like this).

well i cant be sure where the muffler shop decided to end the dp and start the presilencer. therefore, i cant say for sure that the header would line up with the presilencer without issues. but if it doesnt, it would be extremely simple and cheap to add a few inches of pipe to make it fit. did the guy give you pictures of the header?

there was a similar question to this posted just yesterday.

stock exhaust manifold + RB downpipe = same length as the RB headers alone. both setups will bolt right up to your custom straight pipe, or a RB presilencer.
