NOOB 88 turbo2 (cold start problem)

its an 88 turbo2 about 136k on... it seems to have a cold start problem.. i put a kill switch for the injector to unflood it.... just when i start it in the morning the car is having problem staying started and it back fire a little and wont hit past 3k .... after it stay warm up for a long time....it drive perfectly fine.... any idea.... do i need to replace anything...
