noisy susp and trans
Looks like in this new gxl I got a susp and trans that are a lil noisy. I guess on the trans Im gonna drive it till it breaks cause i have another s4 in the driveway with a decent one. On the susp though Im looking to put some good parts on. Where should I start considering it all needs replacing. Also money is tight so this will take time. Should I focus on the front or rear or do a lil on all sides? Any input is good ty.

When I first started building my car, years ago, I had to buy one or two parts at a time. It was pay check by pay check. If this is the case for you, I'd advise that you begin with the rear suspension.
Another option would be to drive your other car and work on the "new" GXL's reliability. Once you save up enough for shocks, springs, bushings, etc... You can install those parts/pieces. By that time you may have already fixed that coolant leak or repaired one of the rear speakers or sanded down all of the important grounds or whatever. (You get the idea.) - It's all about budgeting your money and your time.
Most likely the AAS doesn't work and your shocks are blown. Hey! It's a 26 year old car.

What I did was slowly gather all the parts needed, and install all of them at the same time.
20+ year car, all the bushings need to be changed... since that is going to be done, may as well get to the sway bar, end links, engine/tranny/differential mounts, spring/strut or coilovers.
And looks like you will do your own work? Then maybe gather the parts in sections and do them one at a time each weekend.
