I just installed a j-spec engine and swapped wire harneses. The engine won't start and I thought it might be the injecton(did low impedance resistor pack jumpering for high impedance injectors), but come to find out the fuel pump is not running. replaced fuel pump with new one,but still nothing.
Checked voltage at plug near fuel pump and am not getting voltage to pump(black wire) I am getting volts to fuel guage.
Checked EGI fuse and its good, but am not getting voltage to fuse at fuse block left hand side engine compartment.
Checked main relay(left side of engine compartment) as per shop manual and its working.
Tried jumpering yellow test plug for fuel pump as per manual and still nothing.
Have not hooked up wiring to manual trans(does that make any difference? manual doesn't say one way or another)
