no start after alternator wiring

I have a s4 t2 worth megasquirt ecy.. I shortened my alternator wiring. Normally it goes down to the steering rack, but I shortened it for a straight shot from the main fuses to the alternator. Now my car won't start. Doh!
-I have fuel pressure at the rail, but not smelling fuel from the exhaust
-I will check for spark soon
-my fuses are ok
-I also got magnacore spark wires, but I switched back to my original ones that I ran with before, still no difference.

Bundled with that Alternator harness was a wrote with a shield on it, that shield had a wire going to another plug near the brake master cyl area. That shielded wow was previously cut, open, so I figured removing all of it would be ok. Anyone know what that wow was for? Is not the cas wire.
I'm not hearing any power pops at all. Any help would be great

I think the only shielded wires in the harness are the CAS and O2 sensor...is your sensor connected?

It must be the o2 sensor. My megasquirt runs the wideband.

Nobody replied so I figured there was no need to update, but I found a major problem in my wiring harness. There was a 12 ga black wire near the brake master cyl that connects to my injector harness that was broken from when I redid the wire insulation. I'm guessing that is the ground for the injectors to fire. I haven't had time to reconnect it yet, I've been so busy. I didn't smell any fuel when I was cranking. Good thing I found the problem now. Thanks clokker
