No spark, Car won't crank
No spark, Car won't crank
It's so odd, it's a streeported motor on a stock ecu. We had it started and we were adjusting the idle, it was running awesome actually. Then I turned it off when we got the idle right. I was putting the fan on so I could take it down the road and when I got in I tried to start it again and I coulda swore I saw a spark(might not have, but I think I did) and it wouldn't start after that. So I'm not getting spark, I've checked:
Coilpacks-good
Distributor-good
Ecu-good
Fuses-good
Could it be a burnt wire? I just don't know.

You mention that you have no spark, but you also mentioned that the car does not crank. If it doesn't crank you cannot have spark so the question is does it crank but no spark or does it not crank at all?
If the car won't crank check out the wire that goes to the starter solenoid. It connects with a female spade connector. It should supply ~12V (probably less) when the key is in the start position.
You can jump the hot wire on the starter to that solenoid with a wire or screwdriver and see if it cranks. The car may crank and start so DO NOT do this with it in gear a get crushed please. If it doesn't crank your starter probably needs to be replaced.
It could be any of the other things in the ignition circuit. The ground at the starter/tranny, ignition switch, battery terminals, battery, theft protection starter cut relay, clutch switch or the wiring between these parts.

You mean it will crank but not start? Turning over and cranking are the same thing. W/key to on check for voltage on the Brown wire at either the TPS or Pressure Sensor and it should read 5 volts. This would prove that the ECU is powered up.
