starting a new thread same problem (no start) but i was more intrested in why i dont have a rpm signal when cranking then the fuel issue i posted earlier. is it a bad ground somewhere?

 

If the fuel pump does not work when the yellow two socket connector is jumpered with the key to ON, and the tach does not bump when going to Start, then most likely the interior ENGINE fuse is busted or the EGI fuse in the engine bay, that feeds it thru the Main Relay , is busted. Main Relays themselves rarely fail.

 

the fuel pump does work when jumpered just the tach does not register anything. I can also hear the pump run when cranking and prime when the ignition is first turned to the "ON" position. all fuses have been checked and rechecked and all realys have been checked with a mutimeter.
