No Power after 5k and bouncy idle

Please help I am going insane over this problem!

I have a S5 Turbo II vert recently rebuilt new housings gaskets seals the lot! I have changed all my vac lines and checked for leaks with propane and found nothing the throttle position sensors have ben set re set and adjusted to perfection till the cows come home! all inuts and outputs to the ecu are fine solenoids, injectos temp sensors AFM. Injectors have been cleaned and calibrated new seals used throughout no leaks there, new plug leads.

But still I have a bouncy idle and when I drive it is great a little low on power until I hit 5000 rpm then all power goes and it struggles and stutters.

The only thing I can check and double check is the timing because I cant get the engine to idle at 750 because of the bouncing between 1200 and 2000 I cant time it with a timing light so I have taken the TPS out set it to the alignment mark taken the cover off marked the postion set the eccentric shaft to the yellow position and put the TPS back in making sure it stays on the mark as I do to give me a basic timing. regardless it makes little difference to the idle speed anyhow.

The BAC valve idle adjust screw does next to nothing weather all the way in or all the way out.

Whatever I doo I cant get the engine to idle below 1500!

Help I'm going crazy!

Tried taking both the cruise cable and also the throttle cable off, still the same, really doing my head in this problem

One thing worth noting is I pulled the air pump pipe off the ACV and plugged the port the idle dropped and almost stalled, but it is the only thing I have found that has any effect on the idle speed. Problem is I was alone so I had no one to go to the dash and tell me the speed and my hands were tied up plugging the port. Is it possible I have a faulty ACV? If so has anyone ever managed to fix one or is it a case of scrap it and buy a new one. I want to keep my car as stock as possible and dont like the idea of removing it completely and using a blanking plate.
