No more mister headlight!!

Anyone able to tell me why my headlight will no longer pop up? THe right one does not come up. Might it be a bad motor or just a bad connection??? I need to fix it soon and can get a new motor if that is the case from a junkyard so lemme know. Thanks in advance.

Possibly a vacuum bad hose, but if memory serves they pop up when the loses their vacuum. You didnt mess with that little white **** under the car on that side did you? (thin star shaped plastic ****, usually under a rubber cap, next to the radiator) I did a little bit before I realized what it was and one headlight popped up only half way, quick fix though.

Mazda lights are NOT vacuum operated. It could be a bad motor, wiring or the joint is stripped. Take a peek and see if you see anything broken or popped off before you spend money.

HUHHH????

There is no vacuum control on the headlights

check the linkage first. If the linkage is connected, then check the motor and manual retractor

Sorry, thought I read read somewhere that they were. Kinda suprises me considering the rats nest of vacuum hoses in that car.

heh, mine got STUCK partly open yesterday on the way to school. I tried countless times to manually get it all the way up with no success. I finally got pissed off and punched it and VOILA! the light popped right up. proves once again that violence solves EVERYTHING

Check to see if anything prevents it from going up(ie: I had a part of the seal off the hood get stuck underneath one of mine before).
