no mirrors on, will rain hurt?

I took my mirrors off yesterday to get repainted. It hasn't rained here twice in the last 3 months, but of course I wake up today and it's pouring. My question is, if water gets in there, will it hurt anything? I figure it won't, and it'll just drain out...but who knows. I just want to make sure. Thanks

I dunno about you guys, but I got holes all over in the car. (which explains being killed by exhaust every "spirited drive".

Oh-- and I don't think it will harm much. Being in florida-- everything has probably evaporated by now anyhow...

Alittle water never hurt anything. I mean, granted out cars are 14-15-16 years old by now. They've seen ALOT worse than "alittle" rain.
