I'm not getting any heat from my heater but the fan works great, and it sorta defrosts (with cold air) Any sugestions? the slider for th heat control is very loose feels like no resistance does this mean a loose wire? somewhere? any one else have this problem?

Do you smell/see coolant inside the car anywhere? If you do, your heater core could be broken.

If the temperature selector on the logicon doesn't work, coolant will never be allowed to flow through the heater core. There is a set of valves that open when you push it toward the warm end.

i guess it might not be the fuse? or would the fan not even work?
is it repairable?

i have the same issue. no coolant smell at all.

my slider doesn't feel loose at all though.

i read somewhere you can manually move the rods under the dash and make it open up to the heater core, but mine are soooooo stiff its definately not moving plus its a massive pain to get back there. i heard icemark repairs logicons, but im still not sure that's the culprit....
