Hey Yall all just picked up another rx7 its a gxl i think 5 lug ac/ps now when I was getting the car in texas the guys battery went dead so we pulled one out of his garage and then he hooked it up backwards and we had a shitload of sparks,got the car started right the 2nd time and theyarent working in the dash and it ******* beeps alot to. any suggestions on the guages or on a clutch r&r aybe some high idle help thanx guys sorry soo short iam in school looking up a science topic

Check your 7.5A "meter" fuse first off...

If your alternator is charging the battery (put a meter on the batt terminals while running- should have about 14v), you may not have screwed anything up...Since you seem to have a polarity disorder, the red meter lead goes on the positive batt terminal, the black lead on negative...

 

yeah I checked the fuse not blown, I dont know whet it is but I will keep on looking, but the instrument panel does have lights???
