no fuel in motor.

the car was running normal. i drive out of the driveway and it dies. no sputter just dead. i had just replaced the fuel pump the day before. so i checked that out. fuel was not a problem. it seems that there is fuel getting to the motor but not in the motor. seems to be an injection problem. i have been searching but have not found much. any advice would be appriciated. thanks.

first visually check the harness ground on top of the rear rotor housing for a good connection

second- did you replace the fuel filter & perhaps install it backwards?

third, check the fuses

fourth, for some strange reason the inlet filter sock likes to all of a sudden clog up when removed from the tank & exposed to fresh air- check that out

any thing else you might have "played" with that you're not telling us?

ground "looks" good. i replaced the fuel filter about a month ago. all fuses are good including the interior motor fuse. its not the sock on the pump. i get fuel to the injectors. i have had some wiring problems before. what controls the injection system. what can cause the injectors to stop working. i am guessing that it is a bad connection some where. perhaps even a broken wire somewhere. Air flow meter/connection?

could the FPR die and cause low enough pressure to not work?

okay, the primaries (if you dont know) are those orange things sorta by where the intake pipe connects to the big "13B injected" thang. Are you sure that sometime something bad didn't get into your fuel system/bad filter and clog your injectors?
then again, it could be a vac leak or a bad afm or any number of things...
does it smell like gas? and are the spark plugs wet? (im not trying to make u feel stupid... jc)

its not a vac leak. I already said there is no fuel in the motor. i doubt that both injectors got completly clogged at the same time. i just want to know what i need to look for or any common problems that may be associated. like the FPR. the car died at my brothers house . so i dont have the car at my place. so i need to be ready when i go to his house to try and figure out whats wrong.

Most likely the ENGINE fuse is blown. It's located inside the car. Third row counting from the bottom of the fuse box. It's identified on the fuse box cover. No cover? Look at the FAQ on this forun for a picture. Buy a fsm with the wiring diagrams.
