No Fuel At All....

Well,

Replaced the wiring harness and now have 4 low imp injectors in my sisters 86 NA.

Now, we are getting exactly no fuel at all.

I checked the fuses under the hood but haven't check the ENGINE fuse inside the cab.

I also plan on jumping the connection at the back to check the fuel pump as well.

We have a brand new fuel pump filter (in tank) but there is nothing at all.

Anything else to check?

Mike

Check the ENGINE fuse, then jump the fuel pump test wires in the engine compartment and see if the fuel pump runs. Check the fuel pump relay under the dash. Check voltage AT the pump...

is fuel not getting to the rails at all? when I changed lines on my 86 N/A, I had to bleed the air out or she wouldn't get fuel to the rails.

D'ya think you should've just checked that (and eliminated a possible cause), rather than telling us you haven't?

That would prove if the ENGINE fuse is okay, since it feeds the fuel pump.

How do you actually know you have no fuel?

Yes I do have spark.

LOL, well my 7 didnt have the fuse cover and I couldn't remember which fuse it was so that is why the engine fuse wasn't done.

No fuel I am going by the fact when taking lines off fuel filter and the lines off the sending unit in the hatch area there was no fuel after trying to start the engine for a few minutes.

Alright,

Got fuel and engine runs which is a step forward.

Pump was out and the previous owner for some reason spliced a switch into the power wire of the Open Circuit Relay.

Now my concern on that switch....it has a small portion of a Red with white strip wire on it. Has a plastic piece that looks like you put a phillips head into it but it pushes in like a button. Figured it might have come off somewhere on the car with that kind of wire.

Only problem now is there is a lot of smoke from what looks to be the cat or resonator on the exhaust and the engine doesnt heat up quick but if it was left running it would overheat. It sat for awhile so I assume it might be the thermostate or water pump.
